Small Business Advising & Consulting

Our goal
is to help start-ups and small businesses succeed.  It is very difficult and intimidating to start and operate a small business because there are so many “unknowns” in the marketplace.  Like its owners, every business is unique and has its own set of problems.  There are countless regulations, rules, standards, laws and practices that can bring serious stress to an owner’s life.  With the right assistance, however, these issues can turn into opportunities for businesses that will lead to pride and professional accomplishment for its owners.

The Marvin Law Office has helped many small businesses overcome their legal fears to create and maintain viable and successful companies.  We understand that good advice and professional assistance can be very costly, especially when a legal problem arises that was not anticipated.  The cost of legal representation when being threatened with litigation can cost thousands of dollars.  We believe, however, that most legal issues can be resolved before the threat of litigation ever occurs.

Because of our desire to help small businesses maintain their success without crippling them financially with expensive legal bills, we offer affordable options for small and mid-sized businesses to obtain prompt advice and guidance from an experienced business attorney.

We serve as general counsel to many small businesses in the West Michigan area assisting them on a daily basis.  Depending on your business needs, we can do the same for you.  If you prefer to have a legal counselor on an as-needed basis instead, we can do that too.  The important thing is to have access to affordable, quality legal advice WHEN your needs or problems arise.  NOT after you have been issued a court summons.

The value of having your personal business attorney available to you during your time of need, before you make a bad decision cannot be overstated.  Please consider this our invitation to you to contact us to discuss what arrangement best suits your business needs.
