For the third consecutive year, our office continues to assist young immigrants in the pursuit of advanced education through the Marvin Law Office Scholarship. This scholarship will award $500 to an approved Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
“I started off my 2015 fall semester at Grand Rapids Community College with a bang due to all the love and support I received from Lee Marvin and my family. I was honored to have received the 2015 Marvin Law Office DACA Scholarship.
When I wrote my essay it was the first time I had opened up and explained my life to anyone outside my family. Even though [Lee] Marvin only met me once, I felt like he understood my situation perfectly and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity the Law Office of Lee Marvin presented to me [...].”
-Sebastian Aguilar, Marvin Law Office Scholarship Winner
